What I've been doing this year for my Acne

In addition to my skin being the most irritated it's ever been, I HAD A COLD SORE that hurt soooo bad.



This was a huge wake up / do something else sign for me. I was so sick of face hurting, and not enjoying looking at myself.


I even had a super cystic bump under my chin, just a big pink lump....


I had been utilizing a skin care line that had salicylic acid in it (it didn't do ANYTHING).



It just so happens, in the next few weeks, I was at my uncle's house dog sitting, and I found a Medical Medium book on the bookshelf. I had read Medical Medium information YEARS ago, at the beginning of my healing journey. I had started those practices, and what happened next was needing to do the emotional healing work I had to do. After years of doing trauma work, codependency, etc., I was ready to head back into this info - boots on the ground, food day in and day out choices, cleansing, purifying, and supporting the liver! Here's my skin today --


August 15th, 2024. A little over 6 months. I've come far and still have some ways to go. However, I feel so much more comfortable in my skin again. And I can only imagine where I will go from here!





Here is what I've done so far -


added fruit back to my diet - apples, bananas, grapes, peaches, cherries, mangoes, pineapple, papaya, melon, wild blueberries, pitaya (dragon fruit), pomegranate, lemon, lime, kiwi, figs, dates, oranges and more!

more vegetables - greens, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, sweet potato, potato, tomato, onion, garlic, radishes, peas

celery and cucumber juice in the morning

aloe vera

coconut water

juicing ginger, turmeric

honey

spirulina

barley grass juice powder

herbs - oregano, rosemary, thyme, sage are all anti viral over time

WILD BLUEBERRIES are super antioxidants


cut OUT

dairy, corn, soy, wheat, refined sugar (these all add to inflammation in the body) which, I already stayed away from anyways.


not eating fats and protein until after 12 noon - because, the liver is detoxing all night. as soon as you eat fats, then the liver will stop detoxing and cleansing, and it has to break down fats. protein from meat sources have fat, no matter what.

I am well on my way being completely clear! Wish me luck :) <3
