
Many people are seeking deeper meaning in life at this time. A lot of us are bored with surface - level existences.
Here are 6 ways to begin enjoying your life each day:
Connection. Truly and deeply connect with something, anything. It may be a person, it may be art, it may be a pet, or even the outdoors. Connect with SOMETHING that makes you feel a true reason for being on the planet.
Take pleasure in the food you eat. We eat each day for survival. A lot of the time, we eat while we're distracted with something else. One way to savor life is to slow down, and be thankful for the meal you get to eat.
Have routines that take care of your body. Our bodies are the homes we live in to experience life. Feed it well, move it. I have a super sensitive one, so some days I just need to rest with it after I experience some stress. Listen to what your body wants.
Follow what brings you joy. Life is super short. It really is. Do something that brings YOU joy as much as you can. (this varies for everyone, so that's why reflecting on your joys is important!)
Relax (do nothing). Yes, we all have things we need to do that aren't always fun - have sick days, take care of car issues, clean things. And then we get to have moments where we can relax, and take life at its leisure.
Reflect. One way to feel better about life is to look at how far you've come. Truly slow down and think back on life's experiences - where were you at one point? Where are you now? Realizing all of life's experiences have shaped you into YOU can bring deeper understanding.
