Hello, my name is Rachel and I was a "good girl" growing up. I stayed quiet, didn't rock the boat, followed the rules, and more!

Now, I'm not growing up anymore, I'm almost 30 for God's Sake!!!! And I want to write a blog about S E X.

I know I'm here to help humanity feel less shame surrounding sex, make it more enjoyable for and healthier for people, and show others how they can transmute sexual trauma.

This is, however, a sensitive topic. Some of us have been taught it's bad or wrong. Some people have chosen to use it as a tool to manipulate, or as a form of power over another.

It's also an act that can bring closeness, pleasure, dopamine, intimacy, self-love, and healing. As someone that has now had experience in this arena, I can share lessons and knowledge that I hope will help others in their own journey, or better yet, their own healing.

So, let's get down to it!

I've been with beautiful people - both inside and outside. I've been with men and women. I've had some encounters that weren't great, that I wish would have rather not happened.

Some takeaways that I have are the following:

  1. Chemistry and connection that run deeper than just physical looks will always make it better

  2. Clear communication is a great idea - in all situations, even outside of this context - ((START SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH MORE AND MORE))

  3. It's just another experience that's filled with lessons that we are here to explore. I know we've added LAYERS upon layers of shame and guilt and other disempowering stories, but realize this - mammals, reptiles, animals and plants of all kinds have been doing this deed to reproduce for MILLIONS of years on this planet. We are NOT the first species to have discovered this act, silly people

  4. It's meant to be fun, so if you find yourself not enjoying something, or doing something you'd rather not be doing, it's important to reflect on some of your feelings and choices that led you to that scenario. Just like the practice of meditation, practice releasing the judgment that's often connected to our choices that others have historically looked down upon. You can give yourself permission to explore, and be curious

There are more things I can add, however this is what I'm ready to share thus far.

I am sending you lots of love, peace, joy, and clarity through this post.

And, if you'd like any support or someone to listen in regards to S E X, I'm here <3
